A graduate of the prestigious USC School of Theatre Arts, Ross has had a long and successful career as a leading man actor in film, television and commercials. Ross starred on the big screen, opposite “Twilight’s” Christian Serratos, in the musical drama, “Pop Star”. Ross played famed record producer, Eddie Marz (love interest to Serratos). Not long after wrapping his movie obligations on Pop Star, Ross was hired by “Dead Presidents”, “Menace To Society”, award winning director, Allen Hughes, to star opposite Ramon Rodriguez, RZA, Terry O’Quinn and Cliff Curtis in FOX’s crime drama, “Gang Related”. Ross played rookie LAPD Gang Task Force Detective, James Tanner. Ross recurred alongside James Franco in the popular, long running soap opera, “General Hospital”. Ross was cast as the villainous and womanizing badboy, Brandon—on a mission to terrorize the female leads in Port Charles. Ross starred as Noah Hamilton; older brother to shark attack survivor and professional surfer, Bethany Hamilton, in the Sony/Mandalay biopic, “Soul Surfer” Ross starred opposite Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt and Anna Sophia Robb as well as a large all star ensemble cast that included Carrie Underwood, Lorraine Nicholson and Craig T. Nelson. Just prior to Soul Surfer, Ross played the lead role of Matt Wilcox, an ex special forces vet caught in a deadly underground battle with government created expendable soldiers, in the terrifying horror film,“Underground”. Ross also starred as “Tyler”, one of the lead actors in the hugely successful Wayans Brothers comedy, “Dance Flick”. In the film, Ross parodied Channing Tatum from “Step Up”. Ross starred in the dark indie comedy, “Burning Palms” from writer/director Christopher Landon (Disturbia). Ross played opposite Dylan McDermott, Rosamund Pike and Emily Meade. “Burning Palms” is a subversive tale that interlaces five stories set in Los Angeles, where no taboo is left unexplored as each character careens toward a dark and often comic fate. Ross also hung-ten in a series regular role on the original teen series “Beyond the Break” for MTV/The N, the nighttime network for teens, playing ‘Bailey,’ the sensual bad boy, hunky surfer who lives next door to the Wave Sync house. This dramatic primetime series drops in on the world of four passionate girls and one dream – to shred on the waves as world-class professional surfers. Hot off wrapping the series, Ross was selected by director Joe Nussbaum to star as ‘Ryan Grimm’, one of the lead characters in the hilarious and hugely successful “American Pie: The Naked Mile.” On ‘Pie,’ Ross worked alongside such comedy greats as Eugene Levy and Christopher McDonald. After wrapping American Pie, Ross booked a recurring role on Dan Fogelman’s NBC pilot, “Lipshitz Saves The World.” In this single camera comedy, Ross starred alongside Jack Carpenter, Ty Burrell, Jenny McCarthy and comedic icon, Leslie Nielsen. Ross’ character, ‘Mark Sherman’ was the bullying high school nemesis to ‘Lipshitz’ (Carpenter) on the show. Ross was cast in the lead role in the MGM feature film, “The Cutting Edge 2: Going for the Gold”, opposite Christy Carlson Romano. Playing an extreme sports professional turned figure skater; Ross performed many of his own stunts both on the ice and on the ramp. Other film credits include the critically acclaimed title role of ‘Seth’ in the independent film “What’s Bugging Seth”; A winner of numerous film festival awards. “What’s Bugging Seth” is the story of a young deaf man trying to start his own business while facing all of life’s obstacles that present to handicapped persons. Additionally, Ross starred opposite Leslie Jordan in the hysterical independent dark comedy “Sissy French Fry”, also a film festival winner. Ross’ other television credits include guest star roles on Lie To Me, NCIS, CSI, CSI: NY and Cold Case as well as the love interest for Misti Traya on the WB’s “Living With Fran”. Along with his television credits, Ross has completed major National commercial campaigns for Cadillac, MasterCard, Applebee’s, Bud Light, Arby’s and Sherwin Williams, just to name a few. Ross has voiced many animated characters, such as ‘Daniel Funk’ in the Disney animated comedy pilot, “Who Shrunk Daniel Funk?” and Ryon-Jion on “Avatar The Last Airbender” and voiced the young Patrick Warburton on the “Adventures In Odyssey” show. He has had national radio spots for Verizon Wireless, Subaru, Taco Bell, Toro, Fuel TV just to name a few and regularly lends his voice for major motion pictures and T.V. series.
